This four-day intensive course equips and certifies individuals who are currently Intermediate Trainer certified to deliver our Advanced Positive Behaviour Management modules. It provides participants with a wide range of positive handling and intervention strategies for dealing with the kinds of complex challenging behaviour encountered in high-risk service settings, along with the legal knowledge required to confidently deliver training.
Who is this course for?
Anyone who wants to lead on and support the delivery of training in positive behaviour management strategies targeting complex challenging behaviour and who holds a current Intermediate Trainer certificate.
Those who achieve a full pass will be accredited to deliver a range of Advanced Positive Behaviour Management modules, as a lead trainer, to employees of their single employer, within permitted trainer ratios. (A minimum of two trainers are required for staff training events for any number of participants up to 16.)
If the confidence or competence levels of a participant require more time and support, an ‘assist’ pass may be awarded, allowing individuals to assist on Advanced modules and refresher courses that are delivered for their employer. An ‘assist’ pass can be upgraded to a full pass by attending a future Advanced Train-the-Trainer Reaccreditation course.
£1,250.00 (+VAT) per person plus trainer expenses. Minimum of 12 participants required per booking.
Number of participants
Our closed ‘in-house’ courses are designed for groups of 12 or more participants. Fewer participants may attend, but you will be billed for a minimum of 12. Prices given are exclusive of VAT and trainer expenses.
The Team Teach Experience
Team Teach is an accredited, award-winning provider of training in positive behavioural management strategies. We aim to equip everyone with the tools they need to understand behaviour and manage challenging situations, at work or in daily life, in a positive and respectful manner. Our training solutions, developed over the course of 20 years and delivered by experienced professionals, always emphasise the use of verbal and non-verbal de-escalation strategies, which should be exhausted before resorting to least-intrusive positive handling techniques. Focused on teamwork and communication, our courses foster more supportive working practices, helping people recognise the needs of the children and adults they work with, offer help where necessary, and be able to make use of support when offered.
To begin the booking process, simply fill out the registration form below. Once submitted, we’ll be in touch to discuss your training requirements and then refer you to a lead trainer who will arrange a further consultation with you to discuss your needs in more detail and to arrange dates for the delivery of the course.
